Mirrodin Block

The Mirrodin block, consisting of Mirrodin (released October 2, 2003), Darksteel (February 6, 2004), and Fifth Dawn (June 4, 2004), introduced players to the artifact-dominated plane of Mirrodin. This block emphasized colorless synergy, equipment, and innovative mechanics, changing the landscape of Magic design. Mirrodin introduced Equipment, Affinity for Artifacts, and Imprint. Darksteel added Indestructible, Modular, and Entwine, while Fifth Dawn brought in Scry, Sunburst, and support for five-color decks. Notable cards include Skullclamp, Aether Vial, Arcbound Ravager, Darksteel Colossus, and Chrome Mox. With powerful artifacts and high-impact mechanics, the Mirrodin block reshaped competitive Magic and became one of the most influential blocks in the game's history.
