Zendikar Expeditions, released in 2015–2016 alongside Battle for Zendikar and Oath of the Gatewatch, was the first installment in Magic’s Masterpiece Series. These ultra-rare, premium foil cards reprinted iconic lands with full-art frames and special foiling, themed to match the Zendikar setting. The set included highly sought-after lands like Wasteland, Scalding Tarn, Ancient Tomb, and Cavern of Souls. Pulled at a very low rate in booster packs, Zendikar Expeditions were not Standard-legal unless reprinted in the main set, but quickly became collector favorites for their rarity, elegance, and power level.
