Q: Who is Cape Fear Games?
A: Cape Fear Games was opened in November of 2009 in Wilmington, NC USA by the owner of MTGOTraders.com. MTGOTraders has been the largest source of Magic Online cards for the past 7 years. Wilmington needed a retail store that carried Table Top Games and of course an extensive selection of MTG singles and Board Games. Cape Fear Games is focused on ensuring there is a family-friendly place for tournaments and Table Top Games in the greater Wilmington area.
Q: What condition are the cards in?
A: We do our best to grade each card that comes in with great accuracy. We resell the cards in the same condition that we purchase them. While we redeem alot of sets, we also purchase many of our Standard cards from our local players and at larger events. If we have a version of the card in stock that is less than NM you will see an option to buy that card for a lesser amount. Please refer to our grading scale for our definition of each condition. Cards signed by the card's artist or that have a Pro Tour or Grand Prix stamp that are in otherwise Near Mint condition are graded as Lightly Played.
Q: How long does shipping take and how much does it cost?
A: If you place your order before 2pm M-F your order will typically go out the same business day. If you live overseas we recommend USPS Express Mail or UPS. While more expensive we have found other International shipping options to take up to several months and are not as reliable. If you choose a cheap shipping option we will not be responsible for any lost packages but we will send you the customs declaration number for you to track the package by.
Q: What happens if my package is lost?
We recommend upgrading to at least Priority Mail, even for Domestic Shipments. Unfortunately, once we put your package in the mail, we cannot be held responsible for lost, missing, or misplaced packages.
Q: How do I cancel/modify/combine Preorders?
Once a Preorder has been placed, you can request that it be canceled, modified, or combined with other Preorders for a 15% fee. Preorders not paid for will be cancelled.
Q: What if my order contains Preorders and in-stock items?
The entire order will be held until the preordered cards are available. If you would like the in-stock items sooner, please make two separate orders.
Q: Can I order if my billing and shipping addresses do not match?
You can place an order on our site but please be aware that you may have to pass our ID Verification process which could delay your order up to 5 business days.
Q: Do you ship Internationally?
Yes we do. All International orders will be subject to our Identity Verification process before being shipped.
Q: I got a coupon and want to use it. Are the any limitations?
We ask that you only use one coupon per order and you may share them with your friends. Some of our coupons are one-time use coupons, and once they are used, they will no longer be valid.

Magic Sealed Product Policy
As an Authorized Internet Retailer with Wizards of the Coast, we can only ship Magic: the Gathering sealed products that are less 2 years old within the U.S and its Territories.
Cape Fear Games reserves the right to cancel or limit an order for any reason
We are here to serve the players first and foremost and while we do not mind dealers and resellers ordering from us we may limit the number of a specific card you're able to buy from us or cancel your order providing a full refund. We will contact you if there is an issue before canceling your order.
