Q: Who is CapeFearGames?

A: Cape Fear Games was opened in November of 2009 in Wilmington, NC USA by the owner of MTGOTraders.com. MTGOTraders has been the largest source of Magic Online cards for the past 7 years and we wanted to open a retail store that carries table top games and of course sell MTG singles/Board Games on our website. We are here for the long run and are running tournaments at our shop and fully commited to supporting table top games.

 

Q: What condition are the cards in?

A: We do our best to grade each card that comes in and 99% of the STD cards that we have in stock come straight from Magic Online and have not been played at all.  If we have a version of the card in stock that is less than NM you will see an option to buy that card for a lesser amount.  Click to see our grading scale.

 

Q: How long does shipping take and how much does it cost?

 

A: If you place your order before 2pm M-F your order will typically go out the same day.  If you live overseas we ask that you choose a better shipping option than International USPS First class because it tends to take up to a month or more for some countries and is not as reliable.  If you choose a cheap shipping option we will not be responsible for any lost packages but we will send you the customs form number for you to track the package by.  

 

Q: What happens if my package is lost?

We recommend upgrading to at least Priority Mail, even for Domestic Shipments. Unfortunately, once we put your package in the mail, we cannot be held responsible for lost, missing, or misplaced packages.  

 

 Q: How do I cancel/modify/combine Preorders?

 

Once a Preorder has been placed it can be canceled, modified, or combined with other Preorders and will incur a 10% fee. Preorders not paid for will be cancelled.  

 

 Q: What if my order contains Preorders and in-stock items?

The entire order will be held until the preordered cards are available. If you would like the in-stock items sooner, please make two separate orders.

 

Q: Can I order if my billing and shipping address do not match?

You can place an order on our site but please be aware that we will have to call and speak with you about the mismatched address and we will require proof of identification and address.

 

Q: Do you ship Internationally?

Yes we do. All International orders will be subject to our Identity Verification process before being shipped.

 

Q: I got a coupon and want to use it.  Are the any limitations?

We ask that you only use one coupon per order and you may share them with your friends.

Magic Sealed Product Policy

As an Authorized Internet Retailer with Wizards of the Coast, we can only ship Magic: the Gathering sealed products that is not over 2 years old within the U.S and its Territories.  We can currently ship anything from Shards of Alara back.

 

Cape Fear Games reserves the right to cancel or limit an order for any reason

We are here to serve the players first and foremost and while we do not mind dealers and resellers ordering from us we may limit the number of a specific card your able to buy from us or cancel your order providing a full refund.  We will contact you if there is an issue before canceling your order.
